You were right, the practice name sounded stilted. I had spelled it out letter by letter to stop the voice reading it as a word, and it over-corrected into gaps. Here are three ways of saying it. Only the opening line differs, everything after it is identical.

Tell me what you heard, not what to fix. "The fax number sounds rushed" is more useful than a spelling. I can adjust pacing, emphasis and pronunciation separately, and how it is written is my problem.
The greeting is still 35 seconds. You wanted it shorter. Callers can press a key while it plays, but if you want it tighter the wording after each option is where the time is.
